If you need to resubmit a previous location (e.g. if the original plans have expired), this can be done by going to your beforeUdig History and locating the old enquiry. Resubmitting an enquiry will request up-to-date plans or asset locates from all notified utilities for the previous location.
The Resubmit option appears listed under the "Actions" button on the Job Summary screen:
Note: If you cannot see the Resubmit option, this may be because:
- The job was lodged a long time ago and has now been archived. You will need to lodge a new enquiry instead.
- Your account may not have been validated yet, preventing you from resubmitting the job online.
The resubmitted job's Enquiry Details will automatically populate to be the same as the previous enquiry, except the dates, which will need to be entered again. The other fields can also be altered if required.
Note: If you have have previously requested plans for "Design" purposes and now need to request an asset locate, the Job Purpose will need to be changed to "Excavation" to trigger the Asset Locate option to become available.
On the map, you will not be able to edit the map area or the site address, but you can add extra Notes/Description of Works details if required. If you need to change the map or the address, you will need to lodge a new enquiry instead.
After submitting the enquiry, the confirmation sheet will be sent to whichever email you currently have on your account (regardless of where the original job was sent, if your contact details have changed). New sequence numbers will be generated for the notified utilities, and you will then receive new sets of plans from each one, usually within 2 business days via email or 4-5 days via post. The time frame for an Asset Locate is 1-3 business days if you have also opted for this service.
