Tips:
- If your job is urgent (e.g. a burst water main, blocked sewer, animal burial, asbestos work, earthquake repairs), please ring our call centre on 0800 248 344 to lodge your enquiry instead - we can flag it as an emergency.
Asset Standovers
For Excavation jobs, you have the option to request onsite locates and/or standovers using the Asset Locate Details field (this will become available after selecting your Job Purpose as "Excavation").
For standovers, fill out the Asset Locate Details field as above, but ensure when you get to the Notes/Description of Works section of the page that you add a note that it is for a standover rather than a locate, e.g. "Electricity Standover required".
Note: For Chorus, if both a locate and standover are required for the same job, you will need to lodge two requests. For the standover request, add a note "Chorus Standover required ONLY" so any other utilities notified don't double-up when they organise their locates.
